Memory Walks for Cruse

BATH & DISTRICT CRUSE BEREAVEMENT CARE MEMORY WALK, 20 JULY 2010
Organisers and participants held this walk as a way of gathering people together who have been helped by Cruse, or who simply wanted to meet up with people going through similar experiences. It was the first event like this that Bath & District had held and they were delighted to have it in such a beautiful place - Dyrham Park near Bath. It was a late afternoon walk with lovely views - and teas available afterwards.

MEMORY WALKS IN SHROPSHIRE, 27 June
In what has become a new tradition for Cruse Bereavement Care, friends and family and walked in memory of loved ones - and raised funds for Cruse and its work.

Shropshire Cruse offered a choice of three scenic walks, beginning with a short Memory Tree ceremony when messages were written for the loved ones who were be in the thoughts of those walking on the day. These messges were tied to a tree to be planted close to the spot. This was a family day out, so many brought a picnic and their dogs - always keen for a walk!
