Join us for CruseWeek

We've been supporting people for 65 years and that’s something to celebrate! Between 23rd – 30th November help us to celebrate our birthday by remembering those you love and miss.

We know that anniversaries are not always easy but they can be a chance to remember those we love and miss.  Help us to celebrate our birthday by remembering a loved one during CruseWeek, taking place between 23rd – 30th November.

Leave a dedication or donate in memory of a loved one, or simply fundraise for Cruse, so that we can be there for children and adults who are grieving to support them through one of the most painful times in life.

Get Involved

Here are some ideas which we hope will inspire you to either raise money in memory of your loved one or take part in a fundraising activity, to ensure we can be there for people who are grieving and need support.

Why not take part in our Step Challenge? Set yourself a target of steps to do during CruseWeek, and pledge to raise £65 for our 65th birthday.

Or, you could host a party, organise a quiz, run a charity football match or bring your friends and family together to remember someone special. Whatever you choose to do, you could make your fundraising event as unique as they were.

You’re invited

As part of our celebratory week we’re hosting a number of events, and it’d be great to have you come along.

Please note this event has been postponed. A new date will be confirmed soon.

Join Great British Bake Off Finalist and Cruse Ambassador, Chigs Parmar, for an online bake along! Help raise vital funds for Cruse and have a delicious celebratory birthday baked doughnuts by the end of the evening.

Please note we’ll be sending an ingredients list to attendees before the event, so you’ll have time to get everything you need to bake along with Chigs.

At Cruse we understand the importance of celebrating life, remembering those who were dear to us, and coming together to celebrate those who will always hold a special place in our hearts. We invite you to join us for a special online in memory event where we’ll be remembering those we love and miss who are no longer here. All are welcome.

How your support makes a difference

Your support during CruseWeek could help someone like Simon.

“I sought support after my Father passed away just 18 months after my Mother…I was in a very dark place, not working, loss of routine. Socially things had stopped because there are only so many times you can say sorry I can’t make it before the invites stop!

Over the last year I have had tremendous support from Cruse and especially from my bereavement volunteer Karen. I am still on my grief journey (first anniversaries etc) but I wouldn’t be in the place I am now without the help of Cruse.”
