Suicide Liaison Manager
Our Suicide Liaison Manager will be responsible for managing a new bereaved by suicide project, and a team of people that delivers support to adults, children and young people who are bereaved by suicide in Hampshire, Southampton, Portsmouth, and the Isle of Wight.

The role
1. The post holder will manage the day-to-day operations of the bereaved by suicide service across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight in line with contractual obligations, ensuring grieving people access a range of high-quality bereavement support and are informed about the services available to them.
2. Ensuring bereaved people who contact the Bereaved by Suicide service receive the highest quality service through:
- Providing operational and managerial leadership to Suicide Liaison Workers and a CYP Counsellor.
- Liaising with volunteers who support clients through this service.
- Ensuring services are delivered in line with the contractual obligations and Cruse polices.
- Having overall responsibility for the delivery of the bereaved by suicide project, and service within the area.
- Ensuring support needs are assessed and support plans are in place to meet the needs of individuals.
- Ensuring support is provided in a variety of ways (in-person, online, via the telephone, in groups etc).
- Managing relationships with external partners and commissioners.
3. Effectively managing waiting lists and ensuring client expectations are met.
4. Reporting on service performance and demonstrating the value of the service
